Volunteer Opportunities

Our volunteers are a special part of Caring Solutions and have a broad range of duties: greeting clients, cleaning, assisting with administrative duties (data-entry, mail-outs, filing, etc.), events, and more. We also have opportunities for nurses and medical volunteers, such as pregnancy testing and ultrasound scanning. By volunteering with us, you can impact many!

Assistant Director

The Assistant Director will serve as an extension of and support to the Executive Director for oversight of operations in the Macon and Warner Robins offices. This position will support the clinic and executive leadership teams through leadership, administration, project management, and scheduling. The position is available as full-time or heavy part-time and will work from the Macon and Warner Robins offices.

Director of Community Relations

The Director of Community Relations will focus on the areas of donor care, marketing, event planning, and community partnership. This position will work with the Executive Director and other executive staff in developing and implementing the awareness-raising and advancement efforts of Caring Solutions. This can be a full or heavy part-time position and will work primarily in Macon with some travel to Warner Robins.

Nurse Manager

The Nurse Manager will assist the Director of Medical Services in all locations. The Nurse Manager will offer leadership to the nursing staff and will excel at providing compassionate medical care. This is a full-time position that will serve in the Macon and Warner Robins offices.

Patient Advocate

 

The Patient Advocate will meet with patients and seek to provide relational, emotional, and spiritual support. They will assist the Nurse in evaluating each patient’s overall situation and provide care that helps to problem solve through circumstances that are challenging. In summary, this position must prioritize authentic compassion, demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, and wisely navigate a patient through positive alternatives regarding an unplanned pregnancy. This part-time position will function in a social/case work capacity from the Warner Robins office.
